Surf, Sun and Summer Fun

We had a busy summer, but we had a nice end to it by spending some time at the beach to wrap it all up! The kids had a great time! Miller loved the water, ate plenty of sand and caught some rays. Lincoln spent his time building sand castles, surfing and splashing in the pool. Brian and I had a great time "relaxing"...whatever that means when you have 2 young ones to keep up with! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

I don't know how it happened, but I have been blessed with 2 beautiful and healthy children! We recently had a little photo shoot and the results were fantastic! A special thank you to Amelia! You did a great job!

Other than the photo shoot, we have been keeping very busy! Brian is taking his job in stride and I am making the most of mine. The kids have been enjoying the late summer nights, cool treats and all the swiming they can handle!

We are still here...sorry it has been so long since I have posted! Some news...Brian and I started new jobs, Miller started rice cereal and quickly moved on to baby food, Lincoln has one more week of school, and of course, we took our yearly trip to Disney (that will be another post for another day!) So, we have been very busy! Here are some pictures of what we have been doing! Look how sweet they are!

We had several egg hunts for Easter...Lincoln found lots of eggs!

On Monday, Lincoln's class had Muffins for Mom. Then they sang us a few songs. It was really cute and he did a great job!

Ok, I will try to post more...I know you are dying to see the Disney pictures! We did have a wonderful time, however, it was much more work than we were prepared for...guess that is what happens when you have 2 kiddos!

We have a 3 year old!

Wow! I can't believe Linc is 3! He had a wonderful birthday! We are going to have a hard time explaining that birthdays don't usually last 5 days, but for now, we will spoil him! Here are some pictures of his big weekend!

On Thursday, we asked our family to meet us at Chuck-e-cheese to celebrate a day early. He had a blast! Here they are putting out the fire. It was hard work!

And he loved the jet ski! He was pretty good at it!

On Friday, we picked him up early from school and took him to McDonalds. He played, ate his chicken nuggets and had a little apple pie!

Then we headed to Grammy and Pop's. Grammy made this awesome cake for Linc. It was yummy!

This is how we started Saturday. In my delusional mind, I decided he would magically be potty trained the day after his 3rd birthday. I will be honest, I am terrified about potty training! But, I put these awesome undies on him and prayed for the best. He did pretty good. However, we are FAR from trained! We will keep working on it!

Grandpa and GiGi gave us a family pass to the zoo for Linc's birthday. So, off we went! He loved showing daddy all the funny animals!

Unfortunately, I did not snap any pics of Lincoln on his new swing set. Grandpa and GiGi gave him an awesome playground. He asks every day "when can we go play at GiGi's playground?"

In other news, Lincoln and Miller both went for their check ups. Lincoln was 34 pounds, 39 inches. He is healthy and escaped getting any shots. Miller was 13 lbs 10 oz and 24 inches. She is also super healthy but did not escape getting any shots. However, she did great! We got the green light to start rice cereal. She LOVES it!!! Hopefully this will help her gain a little weight and help her sleep through the night! Please sleep through the night!!!!

We were fortunate enough to have some nicer weather today, so Darci invited us over to play. We call them playdates, but it is really the only time Darci and I get to chitty chat. It is generally interrupted several times by our little buddies. Today was a different story! These boys played so hard and never bothered us once! Here they are jumping off what appears to be the highest cliff in the world, but was really on 2 feet high! They loved it!

A belly flop! They were so dirty! Thanks Darci for letting us get a bath before we headed home!

Everyone with more than one child told me that the second would have a smaller photo gallery. No way I thought! I will take just as many pictures of Miller as I did of Lincoln. Boy were they right!!! I love this little girl, but it has occured to me that I had triple the number of pics of Linc by this age! Has it really been 4 months since Mills finished out my beautiful family?! Wow!! So here are some pictures of Miller...just trying to keep things even...yeah right!! (Thanks Aunt Bethy for letting me borrow the camera...still waiting on my $13 from the US gov!)

I had to add this picture of Brian. The Preds had their annual Gala...this years theme DISCO!!! He looked great! Love you hot stuff...chest hair and all!

Then there was the incident...

Dear faithful blogger readers,
There has been an incident. Please see the pictures and descriptions below. Lincoln likes the camera. We can't keep him away from it. Our intention was to get him a "kid-proof" one for his birthday next month. As you can see, he takes pretty good pics...does anyone need a picture of a golf club to place in a magazine, cause this one is pretty cool!

And he is great at getting the detail of things too. I mean just look at the way the flash bounces off the black background. That takes talent.

And people...he is fantastic at catching you at all the right moments! However, this is the last picture that was taken by my camera...EVER. You see, shortly after this shot was taken, the camera fell to the ground and died. The lens is shattered, the zoom has seen better days and the view-finder can't seem to find anything anymore. (If I had a camera I would take a picture to show you, but alas, IT DOESN'T WORK!!!) So, I will leave you with the two pictures below because, until I get my $13 bonus in each paycheck, (as promised by President Broccoli - this is what Lincoln thinks his name is) we will no longer be taking pictures!

Sweet baby Miller has no idea that Lincoln is running circles around her. Ahh to sleep like a baby!!

He is proudly displaying his new movie. Brian is cracking up about Linc's hair...why?! I think he looks like a rock star!

So, check back in a few weeks...maybe I will have received my money by then and we will be in the market for a new camera. Until then....

3 months!!!!

Miller is now 3 months old! She is doing great! She is starting to sleep through the night, however she still has her moments when she wants to wake up at 2am and play!!! But overall, it is getting much better! Lincoln is doing great too! He still hasn't figured out that Santa doesn't come for another 10 months, so anything he sees, he wants to "put on my list for Santa to bring"! It also comes in handy when he acts up..."don't forget, Santa is watching you!!!" Wonder how much longer I can keep that one up? Mills is very smiley all the time! She is looking at Lincoln making funny faces...I was laughing too!

She still doesn't have any teeth! Lincoln asks me every day "Does she got her teeth yet?" Then he makes her laugh just to check. "Nope, she don't got them yet." We are working on our grammar!

The weather has been fantastic the last couple of days! Lincoln made a bird feeder at school and wanted to hang it up for them. So far, it is still haning on the fence with no takers!

Mom got me a sewing machine for christmas. I swore I was going to use it every day and that I would make Miller all her clothes. Well....I did manage to make this dress, but it took ALL DAY LONG and cost way more than if I had just bought her a dress. But I did have a good time putting it all together! I better get her into it soon before she outgrows it!

Back to work!

Well, I knew the time would come, but it seemed to come much more quickly this time around! I am back to work. It was with mixed emotions that I drove to work on Sunday and took care of someone elses baby! Mine were just fine according to Brian...everyone got through the night! So, I am back to 2 full time jobs! Miller is doing great! She had her 2 month check up and was right on track! She now weighs 11.6 pounds (a full 3 pounds since birth!) and did great getting her first set of shots. Lincoln has gone back to school and is happy to be back in his routine! Brian keeps on traveling, and while we miss him so much when he is away, it makes the time when he is home so much more valuable! Hope everyone is doing well! Aunt Bethy made Mills this super cute shirt! I love it!

The camera hog!

Brian's grandma came to visit all the way from NJ. She will be here all of January. Linc loves her and tries to get her to play hockey with him. So far she hasn't given in, but she has showered him with love and lots of other goodies. This is Grandma's first great-grandaughter and she was so excited to see Miller!

Just looking cute! We are finally getting into a routine and things are becoming much easier!

New Year...not much new!

We had a very Happy New Year and are looking forward to all 2009 has to offer! To start the year off, we took the kids to a hockey game, ICE at Opryland and to Uncle Buds! To those of you that have lived in Franklin for sometime now, you will remember Uncle Buds Catfish was next to the bowling alley. Brian worked there during high school and fried more catfish and hush-puppies than he cares to remember! However, we both LOVE the food and haven't had it in years. So we drove to Hendersonville to indulge in the fried goodness that is Uncle Buds! Ahhh the lengths we will go to ensure our arteries are really hardened! Mills first hockey game. She was about as excited as Linc was when we took him at this same age! The noise put her to sleep...perhaps we will make more games if this is what the diva needs in order to sleep!

Holiday Madness!

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed their family and friends! I know we sure did! Lincoln and Miller got some great gifts from Santa...Lincoln was really into it this year! Here are some pics of our fantastic holiday! The Campbell Family

The Simpkins-Campbell Family

This is Lincoln's letter to Santa. He left it with the cookies and carrot so Santa wouldn't forget what he had asked for!

The next morning, we awoke to a half eaten carrot and cookie and Santa had left a note for Lincoln too! It was "wowie zowie" if you ask Lincoln (that is his word for amazing/fantastic/wonderful/best ever/coolest/most awesome thing in the world!)

He was all smiles on Chirstmas morning!

And so was Miller!

Aunt Jenny came home for Christmas! This was the first time she got to see Mills! They hit it off right away!

Linc asked Santa for a "quad like Aunt Bethy's" and Santa did not disappoint! He was all over the place! I have to admit, it is pretty cool!

Santa also brought a fishing pole. My dad and Linc fished in their pool. He caught lots of what he calls brown fish (the rest of us would probably call them brown leaves!)

Some very important instruction from Grandpa on how to catch a big one!

He also got a Smart Cycle. Uncle Kevin helped him set it up! He really loves it and refers to it as his motorcycle!

Miller was crying, so I asked him to give her a toy to help calm her. When I turned around, he had placed every single toy onto her swing! Guess he was tired of hearing her cry and thought the more he gave her, the happier she would be??!!!

We took the quad for a spin at the house...he did great! He didn't even hit the parked car!

We are getting ready for Santa at the Campbell house! Lincoln has written his letter...he has asked Santa for some pretty cool presents! He even asked Santa to bring something for Miller! She is so lucky! Here are a few pictures of our week.

Linc took his "girlfriend" Avery out to lunch...she is sooooo cute and I would love for him to take her to lunch again soon!

Miller's trick of the week was lifting her head all the way off the ground and holding it...now if I can teach her to make a bottle...hmm

We got to play in the snow last week! Linc was out of school, so we let him stay up past his bedtime to enjoy the freezing stuff! Here are some pics of our week!

Lincoln's very spoiled Disney trip!

What should every little boy get when a new sibling arrives? A trip to Disney with Gi-Gi, Grandpa, Aunt Bethy, Aunt Jenny and Jon! Of course! Really the trip was planned long before we found out Miller would be joining the family...so we decided that Lincoln should go anyway. He was spoiled rotten and had a great time! Here are some pictures of his fantastic trip!

He got to see Aunt Jenny and Jon...it has been too long since we have seen them!

Sleep, eat, poop, repeat...

Brian and Lincoln left for Disney World this morning...and took the camera, so there will be no more pictures until they return on Saturday! So, I leave you with the photo-shoot I put Miller through. Lincoln had to endure the same kind of paparazzi when he was a little over a week old, so I didn't want Miller to miss out! She has been doing great! She had her first MD appointment. She is past her birth weight...8pounds, 7 ounces...girl likes to eat and sleep and poop, what a tough life!

Our first week as a family of 4

We have officially had our first week as the "Campbell, party of 4". We are doing great! Miller is sleeping well and eating like a champion! Lincoln has been a big helper and transitioned thus far! Brian has been the BEST HUSBAND IN THE WORLD!!!! He has really helped me this past week in more ways than he knows! And me, I'm getting around. Still a little slow, but with 2 kiddos, there is only time for a speedy recovery! Here are some pics of our first week! All packed up in the new carseat and ready to leave the hospital! Again, thank you to all the Williamson Medical Center nurses! You made our stay amazing and took care of my family! Thank you for all you do...I really did expect excellence, and I got it!

Miller's first bath...she loved it! She can't wait for the next one!

Brian did pretty good with her hair. I am pretty sure this is the first time he ever brushed a girl's hair!

Lincoln has been going about his regualr 2 year old days, but he occasionally stops to talk to Miller and tell her what he is doing. He told her she will like the Doodlebops...great 2 more years of Dee-Dee, Rooney and Mo.

Ms. Tracy brought this bib over for Miller...how fitting!

Just hanging like a big brother does!

Our first car trip with 2 carseats, 2 diaper bags and 2 fantastic kids! Lincoln told us he would keep an eye on her! Thanks buddy!

She likes to sleep...good girl...keep it up!

Daddy is tired! He should be after all the hard work he has done this week!

We took Lincoln to Steak and Shake for his first meal...we couldn't let Miller miss that opportunity too!

Can we keep her?

Wow! I can't say enough to everyone who has come to visit and play with us while we have been in the hospital. Each and everyone of you has brought a smile to my face and made me feel so special...and Miller too! We are so fortunate to have such wonderful friends and family!
Lincoln is adjusting...rather I am adjusting to the fact that he is so content and loves Miller so much. I was/am quite anxious to raise 2 children, but Lincoln has been so good to both Miller and I, that I am pretty sure I can do this!

He has asked several times if we can keep her...this is a good sign! We let him "hold" her and it came so naturally to him! He also helped feed her...not so natural...bottle in the ear, eye, chin...pretty much everywhere but the mouth! But we will get it!

My beautiful family. Yeah, I can toot my own horn!

He gives her lots of hugs and kisses. He also pats her on the head...similar to how he "loves" on the dog...hmmm!

He is showing her Elmo on TV. She looks like she is saying "save me"!!

Aunt Bethy has started spoiling her already! Several cute onsies have showed up...my favorite "You would cry too if you had just wet yourself" Now, I have to get her thinking about a Halloween costume for next year....

Gi-Gi and Grandpa get some time with her. Believe me, there will be plenty more time with them! Both sets of Grandparents are so excited! A grandson and granddaughter...they are all set now!

Again with the wrapped around the finger pose! Seriously Brian, don't falter, she doesn't need a new car just yet!

Again, I have to give so much thanks to the WMC nurses. They have taken such good care of Miller and I and treated Brian and Lincoln like they were part of their family too! Courtney gave Miller this super cute gown with matching burp clothes and the softest blanket I have ever felt. Sarah gave her a bath last night and put her pink bow in to match her new gown. Thank you Sarah for letting me sleep and for getting Miller ready for her photo-shoot this morning!

Ahhh. So sweet.

We are still feeling great! I am scheduled to go home this afternoon. We are excited to get into our own bed and figure out how we will raise 2 children. Please come visit us at home! We are so excited to have Miller meet all of our friends! Thanks for thinking of us and we will keep you posted!

IT'S MILLER TIME!!!!

She's here! Brian and I got up early November 10th and the next thing we knew, we had a baby girl in our arms! Thanks to Gi-Gi, Grandpa and Aunt Bethy for keeping Lincoln before we went into the hospital...it was so much easier getting ready and out the door without having to bribe a 2 year old with Handy Manny and pop-tarts! When we got to our room, my sweet friends had decorated our room! Such good friends!

Brian looks stellar in his attire! And me...well one last shot of my belly!

We went back to the OR at 7:10 and Miller arrived at 8:08! Courtney "caught" and recovered her for us...we could not have asked for a nicer nurse...she took excellent care of Miller and the rest of my family as I was being "put back together" by another fabulous team...Mischelle, Dr. Bell, Susan A., Linda and Anitra. Thank you ladies for all you did for us! I could not have asked for a better delivery! Each of you made me feel at ease and whether you realized it or not, relieved the anxiety that had been building! Thank you!!!!

We are all doing well! I will post more pics in the next few days...I have to collect everyones pictures...I am sure there are some on Gi-Gi's camera that I need to get! We slept pretty well the first night! I must give lots of credit to the night shift at WMC! The nurses were fantastic and took such good care of Miller so I could get some sleep! Of course the meds helped too! Brian is adjusting to having 2 children too...so far he has melted into this role just as he did with Lincoln! I love the man I married and could not have asked for more. He is a wonderful husband, a great dad and above all, my best friend...and I am happy! I love you Brian and thank you for taking care of us!

Halloween and Preds, but no Miller!

Happy Halloween! Lincoln had a great halloween! We were lucky enough to have Gi-Gi, Grandpa and Aunt Bethy come over and hand out candy so Brian and I could walk the streets with Linc. Here he is looking like he has sneaked some candy...yeah he did!

The Itsy Bitsy Spider was decked out, complete with a water spout. Thanks Aunt Bethy! Another fantastic Halloween costume! For those of you that don't know, THIS mom does not make her child's halloween costumes...she leaves that up to the oh so creative Aunt Bethy! She puts her blood, sweat and tears into his costumes each year, and I get to reap the benefits! You are so talented!!!!

I did however make this little gem...yep I'm an oven...just waiting for the bun to finish! Only a few more days!

On Saturday, Brian and I took Lincoln to see the Preds. This was a very big game for us. For the first time in 10 years, Brian sat in the stands to watch hockey instead of working! Lincoln was super excited to have his dad there! Here he is with his "best friend" Gnash.

Lincoln showed Brian how to cheer when there is a goal, and how to smooze the camera men to get on TV...twice!

Pumpkin Carving 101

T'was the night before Halloween and all through the house, not a creature was stiring, not even a mouse...oh wait...Lincoln was yelling to carve his pumpkin! That's what all the noise was about! So, we sat down and devised a plan. Here we are in deep discussion trying to decide if the pumpkin should have round eyes or square. It was a tough call!

Ewww...that's dis-kus-ting! He was not too sure about the pumpkin guts!

I offered for him to clean out the pumpkin, but he kept his hands far away.

Then I showed him how to get the seeds out using a spoon...he was starting to warm up to the idea! He never really put his hands into the pumpkin, but he did "pet" the seeds as I pulled them out!

Then he helped dad cut out the face. He was a lot of help huh dad?

Here he is! All done! Lincoln named him Steve.

I love my pumpkin! Can he sleep under the covers with me? Not tonight buddy, not tonight!

We touched a truck

Last weekend we took Lincoln to touch a truck. He had a great time! The trucks were very, very, very big and very, very, very loud! Brian had a good time too!

We had a great weekend! We took Lincoln to the Country Ham Festival yesterday...there were pig races, games to play, singing and dancing and of course FOOD!!! We had so much fun, that we went back later at night to see the fireworks! Hope everyone is well! We are awaiting the arrival of Miller...she should be here in about 5 weeks...yeah...not too much longer and I can breathe again! The day has finally come! We have been looking forward to this all summer long! Lincoln's First Day of Preschool!!!! He was so excited to go to school! I could hardly get any pictures of him because he would not hold still long enough to capture the moment! So here are a few...

This is a pic of Linc's last day at Ms. Tracy's school. He has stayed with Ms. Tracy for the last year for 4 hours on Monday and Thursday so I could sleep after work. Tracy has taught Lincoln so much and he has so much to say about all his friends! We will miss seeing them each week, but are excited to start our new Preschool experience!

In other news, Baby Miller is doing great! We are both growing at a much slower rate than I was with Lincoln...maybe I won't have a 10 pound baby this time! We are still scheduled to have a C-Section Nov 10th! I have finished the bedding in the nursery, but we still have some painting to do! I will add pictures of her new room when we are all done!

I have NO desire to start potty training! It makes life so much easier for us when we are in control of when he goes to the bathroom and when we change him. However, he has started asking to sit on the potty. Fearful that I will scare him away from potty training when the time comes, I put him on the potty when he asks...this is what I have to look forward too???!!! On another note...our baby girl is growing just fine and everything looks great! She has a name....Miller Jayne. We are looking forward to having her here with us soon...but not too soon! We have set a date of November 10th for her to make her entrance! We will keep everyone posted!

We headed off to the beach last week for a little R&R...if that is possible with a 2 year old! We had a great time and Linc got to spend a lot of time with Grammy and Pop. Today Lincoln announced that he will no longer be playing "t-Ball" and that Brian and I have to throw it to him. I am not sure if this is because we went to a Sounds game recently and saw the big boys playing, or if he is just ready for the pros?! Here are some pics of our little slugger! Oh yeah...the kid can pitch too. If you lift your leg it gives you much more power.

He connected with the ball several times, however, he does not understand running the bases just yet!

Also, if you open your mouth, you can whack it much harder. Or maybe he is hungry?!

It occured to me that we have not officially announced we are adding another Campbell to our family! So, here is the big news! We are having a girl! She is perfect! Below are some pictures of our yet to be named child! I will spare everyone the "money-shot" that proves she is a girl!

I feel pretty good! Just the usual pregnancy aches and pains! Today we found out she has all her parts...10 fingers, 10 toes and for all my medical friends...4 chambers! Yeah! She is BIG! I am 19 weeks and she is measuring 20 weeks. She currently weighs 12 ounces...apparently, I grow em large!

Lincoln is clueless and thinks everyone has a baby in their belly...so please do not be offended if he asks you to see your baby! His world is about to be rocked! We have tentatively set a delivery date for November 10 and I have my dream team assembled to bring this new baby into the world!

Surprise, surprise! We took Lincoln to see Mickey Mouse again. We just love to go! It is such an easy place for us to get around and is so kid friendly! Brax and Brody tagged me, so here are 8 things you may not know about me!

1. I have been to Disney World 3 times and I am only 22 months old. The last trip mom and dad took me on in November was the first time that I recognized all the characters and called them by name. I loved all of them except Goofy, (whom I prefer to call "Hot-dog" cause you know he sings that song, "Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog" at the end of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show each morning). He is kinda scary with his big teeth!

2. I am sure that my dad plays hockey with Gnash everyday. Mom says he just works with Gnash, but I tell all my friends, "Hoc-ky, Gnash, Dadda". I think they know what I mean!

3. I have been sleeping in my big boy bed, ALL NIGHT LONG, since January 1st, 2008. Mom says thank goodness and gives me kisses every morning and tells me what a big boy I am. I don't see what the big deal is, I mean my room is decked out with Mickey Mouse and all, so hello, who wouldn't want to sleep all night with Mickey watching over you??? Duh!

4. When I leave a room, I no longer say "bye", I now say "C-ya". That's how I roll.

5. My grandpa drives a yellow truck. Any car I see that is "yel-wow" has got to be my grandpa and I ask mom a zillion times where grandpa is going.

6. I love to fly. I have now been on 6 flights and have another flight planned for the end of February. I pretty much know how to work the flight attendants so, I get hooked up with the extra gummy bears and juice boxes. Let me know if any of you others want to know how to sweet talk the Southwest ladies....it's all in the way you smile!

7. I am finally getting teeth! For a long time, mom thought I would only have top teeth. She mentioned something about asking my doctor to check to make sure that all my drooling was normal, cause I can go through 4 shirts a day! However, I am getting my bottom teeth now, so she can chill out. I mean really, why is she so worked up about it anyway???

8. My mom drank ALOT of Diet Coke while I was in her belly. She told the doctor she would cut back from 2 two liters a day to 1 two liter a day. There is a new study out that says caffeine can seriously effect babies. I just might be the exception! Strangely, she won't allow me to have anything other than milk, juice or water...guess once your in the real world, you stop getting the perks you got on the inside. Yeah, where the heck are my daily sonic blasts and steak and shake french fries anyway???

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a safe and exciting holiday! We sure did! In addition to celebrating Christmas and New Year's, we also celebrated 3 birthdays! First was Pop's, then Lincoln and Brain flew to NJ to visit Great Grandmom. She was very surprised that her Great grandson had made the trip to wish her a happy birthday! And finally, we celebrated Grammy's birthday on New Year's Eve. We had so much fun! Here's to a wonderful 2008! Lincoln and Great-grandmom having a "sword" fight. I was worried he would hurt her, but I hear she held her own!

Eating some birthday cake. He gained about 2 pounds on his NJ trip. They sure do have good food up there! Brian swears he did not have sweets the entire trip, but all he asks for now is cake, cookies and candy...hmmm.

Yes, we did it again! I am not sure how many children have been to Disney 3 times before they turn 2, but Linc has! We just love this place! Happy Halloween! We had a great day! Lincoln was pimped out in his Lincoln Navigator (thanks Aunt Beth and Grandpa for all your hard work!) He loved his ride! I dressed him in a suit as he was supposed to be the chauffer of his ride, but several people thought he was running for office...hmmm, he does have a strong presidential name! Guess time will tell! We are settled...so I think!

We are in the new house, there are no more boxes, Lincoln is starting to sleep through the night, and most importantly, I found the cable to download pictures. I guess that means we are settled. However, I still wake up each morning thinking about where I can hang which picture where and what color should the living room be??!!! Hopefully that will all be worked out soon. In the mean time, we are doing great! Brian is back full time, (which translates to at least 6 days a week), at the Preds and so far is getting along just fine. He loves the job and makes us so proud of the work he does! Lincoln is meeting some of the new neighbors and they are great! They are close to his age...that makes all the difference! Here are some long over due pics of the little guy. In case I did not update everyone in our last blog, Linc had his 18 month appointment. Here are his stats: Weight 33 lbs (I would like a re-weigh) 99% for his age, 35 inches, 89% for his age and I don't remember his head...I think after the first time or so, you sort of forget that as long as your kid has a normal sized head and all! So, that is our little monster! To see him, you would never place him in the 19 month group....he looks so much older which makes it so much harder for me! Why it seems as if just yesterday he was born.....well, you know what I mean! Love you lots! Trish, Brian and Linc

Sorry to all my faithful blogger readers...all 6 of you! We have been out of blogger land for a bit as I packed up our house and prepared to move our family one mile down the road. Yes, that's right! We moved 1.4 miles east of our house! Quite a bit of work for such a short move! Anyway, we are all moved into our new house so let the unpacking begin! I will post some pics of the new home sweet home as soon as I find the cord to down load pictures...I should have been more diligent in organizing what goes in what box and clearly marking what was in each box. So far I have found videos that made their way to the master bathroom...we have no TV in there and a box full of garage supplies that made their way to Linc's new room. One day it will all be done! The Sand is HOT!!

I packed up the car and Brian came home early and we took Lincoln to the beach, by ourselves. Now some of you may say, come on! The kid is 17 months and there are two of you. Well, I wish there would have been six of us! The kiddo didn't stop the entire time we were there! He would wake each morning...early...and run to the glass door (I have probably failed to mention he has learned to get out of his crib and pack and play by himself, yeah, great!) and bang until Brian and I got out of bed. Lincoln would yell at the waves, the people on the beach, the cars, the motorcycles, etc. We would head to the beach ASAP for fear his tiny fists would break the window and cost us our deposit! He loved it! He has no fears, which is good and bad! He also learned some new words while we were gone. Like "hot" as in, "Lincoln, is the sand hot?" "Yeah, hot." and "Lincoln, is the water wet?" "Yeah, wet." Ahhh, my own little Rainman! Brian and I are now ready for some rest and relaxation...something that didn't exist while on our trip! But to see the smiles and hear the laughs made it all worth it! Here are some pics from our trip! In other news, we returned from our trip to find our house had sold. We don't have a place to move to or any idea what we want to do...so we may be homeless for awhile! Guess that rest and relaxation is going to have to come further down the road! Yes, I know, it has been forever since I have posted pics here, but we have been busy! Nothing too exciting at our house...just trying to stay cool! We have been going to the pool almost everyday. Lincoln loves the water and has proved to be quite a good swimmer! He is talking up a storm. Of course he has hit the age where anything round is a ball. Poor kiddo wants so badly to play with the stone balls that are outside of Target! Some other words are cheese, woof, yeah, no, Sassie (the dog that lives next door to my parents), mmmmm, mama and dadda. Here are some pics of what we have been up to!

He is so tired, he has to sleep on the dog.

Poor Daddy! He can't get any sleep around here! Little hands seem to poke at him all the time!

Brewster is playing nice with Lincoln. They have become pretty good friends! Just giving him a little pat on the back!

And yes, his foot is stuck in the crib. Perhaps it is time to move the stool out of his room!

Lincoln spends most of his afternoons looking out the window at the kids playing in the street. He bangs on the window and yells and they all stop and say hi. He loves it! My windows are a mess, and I think this window blind has seen better days!

He is my little drooling bruiser. He fell down a few weeks ago and got this yucky scratched eye. He cried for all of 10 seconds before he was asking for his ball. He's a pretty tough guy!

A sweet and sticky treat!

We did it! We took a 14 month old to Disney...all by ourselves. I am sure some of you are thinking this is no big deal. I would then assume you have never been to Disney! We spent 6 hot, rain soaked days with our little friend and he did pretty good. Brian and I on the other hand, are now ready for a vacation! Lincoln had a great time watching the fireworks and parades and was able to enjoy a few rides along the way. However, he wasn't too excited about staying in his stroller for long periods of time. So, we attempted to keep him busy with treats and stuffed animals. We love Disney and want to go back soon. However, the next time, we would love to travel with another family...any takers??!! For Mother's Day, we took Lincoln to NJ to see his Greatgrandma S. Lincoln did really good on the plane. As usual, he had all the ladies swooning over him and offering him extra crackers, magazines, juice...you name it, the kid got it! We had wonderful weather and I even got to visit my friend Becky in Baltimore! Here are some pics of our adventures! Big hug for Greatgrandma!

I am not sure what kind of water they have in NJ, but her flowers were beautiful!

For those looking for helpful tips, apparently your left over to-go box can double as a sun-visor in a pinch.

Brian took us to the NJ shore. I am a used to the white sandy beaches of Destin. Needless to say, this was a little of a culture shock! They had pigeons everywhere. I kept telling Linc they were rats with wings.

Because we live in a subdivision, we think any area that has more than 2 acres and a pond is a farm! Catrina and Andy invited Lincoln and Brax down the their "farm" for a photo shoot. Hi! How is everyone? We have been great! Sorry it has been so long since I have updated this blog! You would think with working less hours, I would have more time, but the hours of the day just slip away! Brian has been VERY busy with playoffs for the Preds. Lincoln and I have been holding the fort down while he is away! We sure do miss our daddy! Shouldn't be too much longer! The season can only go as far as June! Oh me oh my!!! Everyone warned me that Lincoln's first year would fly by...and saddly, they were right! My sweet husband left me a card on the morning of Lincoln's birthday. When I opened the card, it said "Happy Anniversary". Thinking he had grabbed the wrong card I opened it and read on. Brian wanted us to celebrate the day we became family...I mean really, how did I get such a wonderful husband??!! Here are some pictures from Lincoln's birthday party. Hello everyone! We have been busy as usual! Brian and I celebrated our birtdays a few weeks ago! Here are some pictures of me and the girls. They all took me to dinner and had a birthday cake for me! Thanks so much all my wonderful friends!

In the world of Lincoln...he still has no teeth, but he sure is cute! We are anxiously waiting for his first birthday. Brian took me to the Preds Gala last week. It was great to be all dressed up! Here he is with his friend Partner...pretty good looking guys huh?!

We have had a great couple of weeks...once we all got over the stomach virus that was lingering in our house! We have been going non-stop! Brian is up to his eyes with the Preds and their fantastic season! I have been trying to keep up with Lincoln...he is a fast one! Last night, the girls took me out for dinner...it was great! I have such wonderful friends! It was great to see everyone and catch up on their busy lives to! We have to find time to do it more often! Hope everyone has a great week! If the CDC needed to do some investigation on proper handwashing techniques, they could use my house as a testing site. Everyone has been sick! On Monday, we spent the afternoon in the Emergency Room. Brian had the hiccups for over 2 hours. While on-going hiccups are a normalcy for Brian, 2 hours was a bit too much for him. The ER cured him and sent him on his way. In the midst of all that, my throat started to get sore and by nightfall, my nose was running and my head felt as though it might explode. On Tuesday, I awoke to hear the saddest wimpering I have ever encountered. It doesn't matter how many sick children I have taken care of over the years, how many times I snickered at mom's and dad's as they freaked out over their child's runny nose or how many times I called other nurse friends to tell them how a family lost their cool when their child started throwing up...when it's your child, the world comes to a complete stop!! As Lincoln lay in my arms, wretching and crying, I lost all accountablity as a sane and calm person. Poor little baby! I don't know how many times I asked for all his suffering to be transfered to my body so he would feel better?! It's not fair I kept saying! He is so little and can't be this sick! I think I changed 20 diapers yesterday...enough that we almost ran out of diapers! And handwashing!!! You better believe it! I pretty much tore the skin off my hands trying to make sure I wouldn't re-infect Lincoln! Of course, we are not the only people in the world to experience the 24 hour stomach flu...but like I said, an insane woman was living in my body yesterday! Not much picture taking these last few days. I have posted a couple from our BIG snow last week...ahhh...can't wait for that little smile to come back around! Love, Trish, Brian and Lincoln

We took Lincoln to the Circus on Thursday night. He loved it...for about 25 minutes and then it was way past his bed-time. Here are some pics we captured before he took a turn for the worst! Watching very closely at all there was to see!

He loves to clap!

Brian and I love to go out to eat and Lincoln usually does well. However, there are those times when he is tired of being in his high-chair. We have discoved that ice-tea via a straw will keep him quiet for another 5 minutes...usually enough time to scarf down the remains of our dinner and pay the bill!

We discoved he loves pasta! Here is the picture we will show his prom date when the time arrives!

We went to visit Darci and Brax in their new apartment while they wait for their new home to be fininshed. Catrina came with us. Here she is keeping the boys occupied! They sure do like to play with each other...just watch out for Pablo from the Back-yardigans. Lincoln has a real problem with this little bird! Need proof, ask Darci and Catrina!

A new park opened near us, so we thought we would check it out. Got out of the car, didn't make it across the parking lot before HUGE rain drops started falling. Guess we will literally have to take a rain check!

Sunday mornings are wonderful! I love them! Big fat morning paper with some Dunkin doughnuts and spending time with Brian and Lincoln. Guess Lincoln decided he should read the paper too!

Lincoln's first haircut!

It started as a wonderful day...everyone was smiling, the weather was beautiful for January, there were no tears. Then I had the brilliant idea that Lincoln should get his first haircut (Ok, I attempted to cut his hair one day, but he wound up with a huge chunk missing from the front...it's hard to cut when his head is whipping around!) So we headed off to a kid's only salon. See below for what appears to be the most terrifying moment of little Lincoln's life!

And then the green cape went on and the tears started rolling!

Hair has NO feeling but it would be hard to prove that point based on this picture!

All done! Whew...in the amount of time it took me to take the pictures, his haircut was over. Maybe a total of 4 minutes, but if Lilcoln could talk I am pretty sure he would say they were the worst 4 minutes of his life! I can't wait until we have to set him in the dentist chair, perhaps it's a good thing he doesn't have any teeth yet!?

I guess it's a good thing kids can't remember anything in their early childhood. However, this may come up in future counseling sessions. "It all started when my mom and dad forced me to cut my hair..."

Happy New Year...a few days late!

No, we didn't go to New York...we had a great trip to Las Vegas! Lincoln stayed with Gigi and Aunt Bethy while Brian and I toured the world in 3 hours! Where else can you see New York, the Eifel Tower, and China town without getting on an airplane? We had a wonderful time but I was anxious to get back! Even though Lincoln told me he had so much fun with Gigi and Aunt Bethy, I was ready to get home!

Gotta love Las Vegas! We did pretty good in the gambling department, and by we, I mean I did a great job mooching money from Brian that he had just won, to burn in the nickel slot machines! Fortunatley Brian did well at the tables and made up for my lack of luck on the slots! Looks like he still loves me huh?

As you can probably tell, consistenly blogging was not one of my New Year's resolutions, so don't hold your breath! But I will try to post more often...famous last words!

I love my new job! It has been so nice to spend so much time with friends and family and most importantly Linc! I am so fortunate to be in a profession that allows me to change jobs without having to learn everything all over again! This was the best decision I could have made for our family!

We miss seeing everyone...maybe if the weather stays nice, we can get together with the mommies soon! Love Trish, Brian and Lincoln

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! We sure did! I had all our family over for Christmas Eve dinner...it was so much fun having everyone under one roof! Of course Lincoln was spoiled rotten...thanks to all the grandparents, aunts and uncles! Of course, of all the toys he got, he would only play with Brian's stocking stuffer...Old Spice body spray....go figure!

Brian and I will be heading to Las Vegas in a few days. This will be our first trip with out Linc...I am excited for some all adult time, but sad to be with out him! We shall see how this goes!

Hi friends! We have had a very busy week here in the Campbell household! Lincoln is moving ALL OVER THE PLACE!!! He is so quick! As you can see, he escapes before I can get a diaper on him most times. Dressing him has become a two person event! But I am loving it! ....................................Hi Friends! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We sure did! We spent the morning with Brian's family and had a wonderful dinner! Brian had a Preds game, so Lincoln and I headed to my parents to do dinner part 2...it was great too! We stuffed ourselves! Lincoln played on his swing for a bit...it was a beautiful day!

After all that food and fun, someone was very sleepy!

Lincoln has not only learned to crawl, but has started pulling himself up every chance he gets! We have been baby proofing like crazy! If any one knows where to get gates at a good price, let us know! We are gonna need many more than what we have now! Lincoln has also been interested in tearing up my magazines...all the toys in the world and he wants to play with paper!

We tried many times to pose in front of the Christmas tree...many attempts, and this was all we could capture! He is a quick one!

Lincoln loves his daddy! He has so much fun with Brian! This is my last week at work before I get the opportunity to spend more time at home. I am scared and excited at the same time! But I know we will get by and have so much fun! Hope everyone had a wonderful week! Love Trish, Brian and Lincoln!

Lincoln has figued out how to crawl! Oh the emotions!! Time to start baby proofing! Gone are the days of sitting him on the floor with some toys and walking away!

He has gotten into the habbit of crawling into the smallest space possible and then shrieking!!! Lovely! For those who haven't heard, I am leaving my position at Vanderbilt. I have decided to be at home more with Lincoln as he explores this big world. I have been fortunate to have worked with the nation's best nurses and doctors. Everyone has been so supportive of this decision...as hard as it was. But nothing could keep me away from this kiddo and his smile!

It's been a while since I posted, but if the time that I am writing this indicates what my life has been like lately, I think you all will forgive me! Things have been very busy...but we are all doing great! We took Lincoln to visit his great-grandmother in NJ. He did great on the plane and we were so lucky to see everyone in NJ! Hopefully they will have us back soon! Lincoln tried his first pickle...he wasn't too sure about it though!

This was Linclon's first Halloween. He did great! Thanks to Aunt Bethy who provided the costume...if anyone needs a fantastic graphic artist to whip up a costume, I got a name for you! She made this from scratch! Wow! She is awesome! Thanks to Grandpa Mike and GiGi for coming over to hand out candy so we could visit with our neighbors!

We took Lincoln for his 6 month pictures this week! I am such a proud mama! I know, I know, I am a little biased, but...he is so cute! These are just a few of the pics that I love! We had a great week! As you can see, Lincoln has started reading! Actually following this picture, he started eating the book, but he sure looks studious! He also grabbed on to my diet coke bottle...yes, Gigi will be thrilled! Lincoln got some healthy doses of diet coke while in my tummy, this could be why he weighed 10 pounds! Diet, yeah right!

Predators Hockey season started on Saturday. So I have lost my husband until April! Somehow we wound up on the Jumbo-tron...wonder who got us on there? Lincoln also got a tatoo for this event! Thanks Grandpa Mike for helping out so much!

We got the ok from our doctor to start baby food this week! So far sweet potatoes are going well, tomorrow we will start some squash...yummy! He seems to enjoy them, all though it is hard to tell from this picture!

We have had a pretty low key couple of weeks! And that is ok by us! Lincoln moved into his "big boy" carseat. A bitter sweet moment for me! No more hauling around that heavy baby bucket, but look! My little fellow is in his "big boy" carseat! AHH! I have also found that getting in and out of the car is not quite as easy as before! But we are leaning! Lincoln is showing off his new crocs. They kind of blend in with the table, but trust me, they are super cute! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Oh...we went for our 6 month visit. Lincoln is 17 and a half pounds, 28 inches and has a big ole head! He is healthy as a horse and we are going to start baby food this weekend! I am sure we will have some pics to share! Love you!!

Today I practiced sitting up...I can hold myself up for a few seconds, then I wind up on the floor...thankfully I think it is funny!

We had another great week! Lincoln went to his first party...Happy Birthday Brax! The bounce house was so much fun! We spent the rest of the weekend playing! I love this stage in his life! He laughs at everything I do, smiles whenever he sees me, and most importantly, he isn't mobile just yet! He is working on getting that little bootie in the air, so tonight, Brian got out the gates. What a fantastic time we had at the beach! Lincoln has proved to be quite the traveler! He enjoyed the sun and surf and Brian and I loved watching him explore the world around him...a couple mouthfuls of sand and a few splashes of salt water were plenty for him to appreciate formula! He loved the pool and showed off his diving abilites for Brian and Pop-pop on a daily basis! We had so much fun and look forward to hitting the beach in the future! Love Trish, Brian and Lincoln!

Yeah, it's been a while, but we have returned from our first vacation with Lincoln! Vacation is a word I use loosely because those of you who have traveled with a peanut know that it is A LOT OF WORK! But well worth it! Lincoln went on his first airplane ride, first boat ride, first train ride and first roller coaster! Check out our awsome time below! Love Trish, Brian and Lincoln

Lincoln got to ride my favorite ride! Pirates of the Carribbean! We were shocked that they would let him go on, but he really loved it!

Can you tell Lincoln was tired?! He was only in the park for a few hours!

Brian has been dying to stay at this hotel for a long time. We finally got around to it and boy what a great view of all of Walt Disney!

For those who don't know, Brian and I love Walt Disney World, see above photo of Brian in his stylish glasses for a better example! We just can't get enough! When people ask how many times we have been there, we tell them "Enough that we don't need a map!" So, with the help of Gi-gi, Grandpa Mike, Aunt Patty and Uncle Dave, we took Lincoln to see Mickey too!

Father's Day

Whew! What a busy few weeks we have had! We finally finished our "wedding run"! We had at least 6 weddings to attend! All the happy couples had beautiful weddings and are now living happily ever after! Here are Brian and Lincoln eating at one of our new favorite places...Mineo's! They have great pizza and fantastic wings! Not so good for the weight loss plan we are on, but yummy!

Gosh, I love that little guy!

He has discoved rattles! Yeah! Something to occupy him! Unitl now, we have gotten away with ceiling fans! Rattles are good, not too loud, hold his attention, improve his control, not too expensive...all the way around, they are a fantastic find!
He also loves his mobile. He has discovered that the animals keep coming back to him!
And swimming! I am so happy he loves the water! I am such a water lover and I hope he will be too! Nothing could make me happier than sitting on the beach people watching...now I get to share that with Lincoln! Don't worry mommies...he was only in the sun long enough to get this pic and then back in the shade! No coppertone bootie yet!
We miss you and love you all! We are preparing for our next big adventure, Disney! We leave in 2 weeks and will meet my mom and dad. Brian and I are looking forward to having the best of both worlds, our little one close by with a watchful eye from my parents and getting to run wild at the Happiest Place on Earth! Uncle Kevin graduated this past weekend and to celebrate, we went to Sho-guns. Lincoln got his first feel for chopstix...although he discovered how difficult it is to eat Similac with them! After dinner, we had a fire in our new fire pit. Linc was in awe of the whole thing! We are all doing great! He has been able to spend lots of time with Gi-gi and Grandpa Mike as I have been overwhelmed at work. Hopefully it will all settle down soon and we can get back to our normal schedule. And not to jinx myself, but 3 nights in a row Lincoln has slept ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE NIGHT! Yep, down at 8:00 and up at 7:00! The first night was super scary for me, I kept waking thinking something was wrong! Of course he was still dreaming away in his little crib! I know, I worry just a little too much! Lincoln's First Baseball game

Brian is a sports fan. He knows jut about everyone in the business here in Nashville and many in other cities. Because of all his contacts in sports, we have been lucky enough to attend many, and I mean many, games. In the fall we get to see the Preds play and in the summer, the Sounds. Lincoln went to his first hockey game at 3 weeks old. And this past weekend, at 9 weeks, he got to enjoy his first baseball game too! Brian and I had a great time showing him off! Yeah, we're those crazy proud parents we thought we would never be! But here we are, having his picture taken, cooing at him, talking in silly baby talk...you know what I mean! But we love every second of it! Brian and I will celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary May 24. Seems like just the other day I was calling Darci from Key West to tell her that Brian had asked me to marry him! I think she may have had a hunch, cause she told me to call her anytime while I was gone! But it was a surprise to me! Brian and I have been together for over 10 years. What started as a high school crush has developed into more than I could have ever imagined, but no less than I could have ever dreamed. I love him in more ways than I knew how. And to see him now with our son makes me love him in a different way. Nothing could have prepared me for the smiles he has had with Lincoln! I love Saturday mornings when Brian brings Lincoln into our bed and we all just lay in our PJ's and play and talk! Wow! I never thought I would get to this point in my life, but I am so thankful for the opportunity to experience it!

My First Mother's Day

I had a wonderful first Mother's Day! We spent the afternoon at a BBQ at mom and dad's and Brian's family was able to join us too! Lincoln spent most of the afternoon in Pop-pop's arms...I don't know who was more content?! I woke up to breakfast from Lincoln and some new jewlery! How did Lincoln know? I wonder if he had help from his daddy? Life is swell for us! We are so lucky to have such a healthy baby and so many loving and caring friends and family! Love Trish, Lincoln and Brian

Lincoln loves his surf borad...and he doesn't seem to mind tummy time! He is so strong!

And he loves his bouncy seat! He has recently learned how to grab for his rattles...he's not quite sure what to do with them once he has them, but he will learn!

Congratulations Aunt Jenny...MTSU graduate! I told you I would be a good boy!
Well, I made it! I was sure going back to work would make our lives miserable...but I was proved wrong! Lincoln has done great! Staying with his Gi-Gi has proved to be fun and he gets to play with Grandpa Mike too! I knew he was in loving and capable hands...but leaving him was soooo hard! Lots of tears and sobbing and struggling to keep it all together...on my part! But I made it through the whole week and I only went through one box of kleenex! Better than I had expected! We miss our mommy walking group and are thankful for the blogs and phone calls! We did make it to the zoo on Friday. It was very busy, but it was nice to see Darci and Kelly and their kiddos! I am looking forward to my first mother's day...I hear Lincoln has plans for me! I love the little fella! Love Trish, Brian and Lincoln

Oh dear friends! How can Lincoln almost be 6 weeks old? Where has the time gone? I feel like he was just born! Can it really be that he is this old?! I have really enjoyed my time off from work, getting to watch him grow and explore! But sadly, I must get ready to go back. It has been an on going battle for me, but I have to get back into the swing of things! Lincoln will be spending his afternoons with his GiGi until his daddy gets home. Lincoln went to his first of many hockey games this week! The Predators looked good, but Lincoln looked better in his new outfit supporting the Preds! Thanks to Aunt Bethy who helped during the loud times!

Lincoln is wonderful! I have been doing great too! We have made some new friends in the park and have been walking several times a week! Lincoln has lots of new friends and I have my sanity back! The weather has been fantastic and we have been outside almost every day! Brian is almost done with the season so it won't be long until he can join us too!

Lincoln's belly button finally healed and he could take a real bath! Good thing too...he was starting to smell like a foot! I think he likes that water, which is good because Brian and I love the water! We are doing great! I am really enjoying being a mommy and Brian is such a good dad! Lincoln has brought so much to our lives in such a short amount of time! I told mom that I loved Lincoln as soon as we found out we were pregnant, but I fall in love every time I look at him!

Out and about

We are doing great! I have gotten a little bit of cabin fever, so we took our first trip to Target. Lincoln loved it! I think he remembers how many times we visited here during my pregnancy and felt right at home! Then, he asked where did I get all those good milkshakes, so we took him to Steak and Shake...the boy loves his sweets!
All the girls came to visit us this week and brought us dinner...of course they spent a little more time playing with Lincoln than they did cooking! Brax came over too! They compared feet and decided that Lincoln may be new, but he sure does have big feet!

Lincoln loves his Grammy, Pop-pop, Gi-Gi and Grandpa Mike! I think he is getting used to being spoiled by all of them! And Lincoln did great with Brewster! Or maybe Brewster did great with Lincoln?!

We have made it through our first couple of days and so far so good! Lincoln is eating and sleeping well and we are so excited at all he does! We are pretty sure he is advanced for his age..of course we may be bias! Everytime I look at him I fall in love all over again! Here are some of our newest pics!

Lincoln's Birthday!

He's here! Yeah! He arrived March 20 @ 1:57am! Remember how I said the ultrasound indicated he would be 9lbs? Well it was wrong...instead he weighed 10 pounds! Yep! He's a big boy! 21 inches long and as healthy as a baby can be! We are so excited and thankful! Brian is doing great with him. He just kinda picked up being a dad and has done a fantastic job! I am so lucky to have them both! I am getting around slowly but have had so much help from Brian and both our family and friends that I think I will make it! We are exicted to share him with you all! Well, we have good news and bad. We had an ultrasound this week and the good news is Lincoln is great! He is really enjoying himself in my tummy! So much so that he is estimated to be 9 lbs! Yes, that is the bad news...for me anyway! But we can't complain, a healthy son is all we have ever asked for! Our doctor told us to hang on and enjoy the time we still have as childless people. Easy for him to say, he isn't carrying 9lbs of baby on his baldder! I am concerned that Lincoln has taken such a liking to his "home" that he may never come out! We are looking at which colleges would offer us a discount as he is likely to still be in the womb when he's 18! Don't we look oblivious to the fact that our lives are about to change forever?! Beth and Jenny threw Lincoln and I a wonderful baby shower today! A little snow and ice showed up, but overall, there was a fantastic turnout! Thanks to everyone who came to see us! We now have everything we need to have a baby! The food was great and the company was better! Aunt Pat and Gail even got to come down! I am so happy to see them both! Hopefully they will get to come back after he gets here! Only 28 days until he is due to see everyone! I am still hopeful that he will be here in 3 days!

I came across some pictures from Christmas and saw how big I was. Then, I found some pictures from last week...I don't think I am that much bigger now am I?! Not a word Mom!
We took Lincoln to Bon Jovi last night. I think he enjoyed the show! He has now heard Elton John, Big and Rich, and Bon Jovi! We wanted to make sure that our son got a very diverse experience with music at a young age. All the experts say you should expose them to music right?!

What wonderful friends I have! The super six put together a fantastic shower for Lincoln and I! Thanks to Kristen for allowing everyone to pile into her house! It is so nice to be with friends celebrating! Brian, Lincoln and I got lots of great gifts! We are ready for him to come and see us! Darci, Erin, Emily, Jilayne, Catrina, Kristen and Heidi...thank you so much for the rocker! I know we will have many nights rocking ourselves to sleep!

We have 40 days until the arrival of our son Lincoln Tyler. Of course we would both love to see him a little earlier...may Feb 22?! Just a guess on our part! Really it correlates well with Brian's Olympic Break, so we are hoping! We think we are ready for him to be here, however, we have no bedding, no diapers and most importanly no car seat! Oh well, no one is ever that prepared right?!
